My ATG

I have wanted one of these glue gun for a while, but it is costly so when I got a message from Michaels that it was on sale for 19.99  I jumped right at it. It took me an hour to figure out how to put the glue in the gun, then a watch a video on youtube from another crafter, She goes by the name PinkCricut (http://www.pinkcricut.com/)  and that's when it clicked for me. This will help me finish up the rest of the cards that I need to get done for the holidays.

holiday card time

I have been busy working on christmas cards for family and friends. Here are a few using Smiley cards and Create-a-critter.

The gingerbread people I cut a 3' from the new smiley card, free download with the gyspy. I used peachy keens stamps for the face and colored the eyes in with my set of colored pencils for Martha Stewart. I added a stiching with a white gel pen and chalk for the cheeks. The paper is from k&company. My reindeer was cut from the create-a-critter. It was cut at 3' and cut in three layers. I used a ribbon that I got from Michaels for a buck and the paper is from DCWV. It is a simple card, but fun to make and someone special will be getting it.

My Black Friday

I went out for black Friday and this time my sister and daugther joined me and my mom. Our first stop was Wal-mart. It was a mad house and we got there at midnight and didn't leave until 4:30 am. I did get three of the cartridges that was on sale for the cricut. got an electric blanket for $19 bucks and some sweaters for $7 bucks. After leaving there it was off to Target. Most of the stuff  I wanted was gone , but my sister was able to get the keyboard for her daughter that was on sale for $59. Then it was off to Joann's where I got the cricut cake mini for my sister as a Christmas gift. She is a bakery and it was on sale for $99 and at the price why not. We didn't get home until 8am. It was one crazy night.
